Storytelling
Before there was writing, all knowledge was passed down in the form of story, from one generation to the next. Contrary to popular belief, listening to stories is not an exclusive privilege for children. It is a wonderful experience for people of all ages!
As a traditional storyteller, I don’t read from a book. I literally know my stories by heart and deliver them in Swiss German and English. I have performed on various stages in Switzerland and abroad, both solo and with other storytellers and musicians.
Storytelling is a form of traditional entertainment that will add a sparkle to all kinds of occasions, such as:
- Dinner Parties
- Birthdays
- Weddings (Ceremony and / or Reception)
- Corporate Functions
- Library Events
I also offer workshops for schools and libraries to promote literacy and creative writing.
Upon request I will craft a bespoke story for a special occasion.
All storytelling can be combined with music.
